If you’re shopping for a full-sized luxury SUV with top-notch performance, technology, and comfort, you might be checking out the 2021 GMC Yukon Denali or the all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. These are two of the most popular luxury SUVs on the market today, but how do they compare to each other? You might be stuck trying to make a decision, so Sam Leman Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Peoria has put together a handy comparison guide. While the Yukon Denali has plenty to recommend it, we’ve found that the Grand Wagoneer comes stacked with features and capabilities you won’t find anywhere else! Read on, then check out our online inventory to see if we’ve got a Jeep Grand Wagoneer for you to bring home.
With the 2021 GMC Yukon Denali, you have two engine options: a 420-hp 6.2L V8 and a 277-hp 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine. These options both come with a powerful 10-speed automatic transmission. Configurations are available in 2WD and 4WD; with the 2WD V8 engine, the Denali has a towing capacity of up to 8,200 pounds.
The 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, however, outmatches the Denali on the Dunlap roads, with a powerhouse 471-hp 6.4L V8 engine that can tow up to 10,000 pounds when coupled with 4×4 capability! You can choose between three 4×4 systems, all with an 8-speed automatic transmission, giving you unmatched power and traction.
The GMC Yukon Denali and the Jeep Grand Wagoneer both offer top-level technology inside the cabin. With the Yukon Denali, you’ll be getting Yukon’s highest trim level and all the advanced technology that comes with it. This includes an HD Rear Vision Camera, 10.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a Bose 14-speaker surround system with CenterPoint audio system. The Jeep Wagoneer comes out strong with plenty of exceptional technology itself, including rear-seat infotainment screens and a 23-speaker McIntosh audio system! Here are some of our favorite technological features you’ll be getting with the Jeep Wagoneer:
Now that we’ve looked at performance and technology, how do the Yukon Denali vs. Grand Wagoneer stack up when it comes to size? They’re both full-sized premium SUVs, but their interior dimensions differ in some important ways. While the Yukon Denali gives Bartonville more cargo space behind the first row of seats, the Grand Wagoneer holds its own with more passenger volume.
